A rich piano anthology that moves from the Sonata op. 101, with which Beethoven opened in 1816 the last, ineffable constellation of his sonatas, passes through the first and second Romanticism, with well-known pages and others rarely performed, and closes with Prokofiev's Sixth Sonata of 1940, the first of the so-called “war trilogy”.
