The Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation was set up in 2010 with the aim of supporting any initiative promoting awareness, protection of the local area and monuments, the principles of tradition and everyday spiritual human values.
One of the Foundation’s main goals is its commitment to restoring the human dignity in the context of the living and working environment.
This commitment is accompanied by its high regard for the local area, and in particular for the suburbs, and by the expectations that Brunello and Federica Cucinelli place in a happy life, understood in an Epicurean sense.
At the heart of everything the Foundation is involved in, in Italy and around the world, you can find cultural activities, initiatives in favor of the protection of artistic attractions and projects to care for and support people and the local area.
The main artistic and cultural interventions supported by the Foundation include the restoration of the Morlacchi Theatre and the façades of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo (the latter in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Perugia and Eni) and the restoration of the Basilica of Norcia following the 2016 earthquake.
