W. A. Mozart (1756-1791)

Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467

Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551 “Jupiter”

Two very famous pages from the years of Mozart's maturity, marking the peak and the decline of his success in Vienna: the much-loved Concerto KV 467 (1785), the “playful” apex of his concerto catalogue and among the first perfect models of the modern conception of the genre, and the Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter”, a masterpiece of formal solidity, born in the very difficult year 1788.
