The Quartet draws its inspiration from Luigi Vanvitelli, one of the foremost architects of the Rococo period. The ensemble has brought renewed attention to the figure of Michele Mascitti, a violinist of the Neapolitan school, through two CDs released by Arcana. Their interpretation of his works has earned them significant acclaim from international critics. The prestigious magazine Diapason awarded the quartet the highest rating, 5 stars, twice in a row: "La connivence de l’ensemble… le son doux et croquant de Guerra… nous mettent dans les meilleures dispositions pour s’abandonner à une italianité d’autant…" (Diapason). The quartet has also collaborated with internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Giuseppina Bridelli, producing a CD featuring works by Scarlatti and Caldara, also published by Arcana, and recently praised by numerous Italian and international publications.

Their most recent recordings are dedicated to Giuseppe Agus, a Sardinian musician active in the London of G.F. Handel, in celebration of the 300th anniversary of his birth, and Alessandro Scarlatti, featuring four previously unrecorded cantatas with soprano Valeria La Grotta ("Prima d’esservi infedele", named Disc of the Month by Classic Voice and Musica, awarded 5 Diapasons, and more). The Quartet’s latest release is dedicated to Handel’s sonatas for violin.
