Nicolò Antonio Sari

Nicolò Antonio Sari was born in Venice in 1987 and graduated with full marks in organ and composition from the “B. Marcello” Conservatory, Venice, where he studied with Elsa Bolzonello Zoya and Roberto Padoin. He has received extensive acclaim at international organ competitions: second prize, with first prize not awarded, at the J.P. Sweelinck competition, Amsterdam, first prize at the international competitions of St. Julien du Sault (France), Pistoia, Fano Adriano, Muzzana del Turgnano and Varzi. He has also received recognition in Graz, Borca di Cadore... He performs in concerts in Italy and abroad, hosted by important festivals. As a soloist he has performed with the Orchestra of Teatro La Fenice, Venice, the Ravenna Chamber Orchestra and the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto. In 2012 he completed a two-year specialisation in Organ (with Honours) at the “A. Pedrollo”, Vicenza, with Roberto Antonello. In 2014 he completed the two-year specialisation in harpsichord (with Honours), with Patrizia Marisaldi. He is the artistic director of the Gaetano CallidoInternational Organ Festival, Venice.
