Pere Caselles Gisbert was born in Valencia, where he began his musical studies at the Burjassot School under the guidance of Rafael Cardo. He earned his diploma in bassoon at the “Joaquín Rodrigo” Conservatory in Valencia with José Enguídanos, and later refined his technique with Santiago Ríos, Robert Porter, Rachel Gough, Enrique Abargues, and on historical bassoon with Josep Borràs.
He has performed with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, and Orquesta de Córdoba, and from 1997 to 2006 served as assistant principal bassoonist with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Baleares “Ciutat de Palma.”
In 2014, he completed a Master’s Degree in Musicology, Music Education, and Early Music Performance at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona, studying with Josep Borràs.
In the field of early music, he has performed with ensembles such as the Coro de la Generalitat Valenciana, Studium Aureum, El Teatre Instrumental, Academia 1830, Ars Vocal Ensemble, Cor de Dones de Sant Francesc de Inca, Quinta Justa, Vespres d’Arnadí, Joch de Ministrils, Poema Harmònic, and the Capella de la Seu de Mallorca. He currently teaches bassoon at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música y Danza de Mallorca, and continues to collaborate with both the Orquesta Sinfónica de Baleares and the Orquesta Academia 1830 de Mallorca.
Tomeu Seguí Campins is an organist and harpsichordist specializing in early music. He completed his studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Zaragoza, the Istituto di Musica Antica at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado in Milan, and the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in Fribourg (Switzerland), under the guidance of José Luis González Uriol, Lorenzo Ghielmi, and Maurizio Croci, respectively. He has performed in Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland, appearing at venues and festivals such as Vespri d’Organo di San Alessandro (Milan), El Sonido Vivo (Castilla y León), Fête de la Musique in Fribourg, Versailles au son des Orgues – Heures d'Orgue at the Cathedral of Saint Louis in Versailles, Concerti di Primavera San Michele Arcangelo (Venice), and the Menorgue International Festival. He is the principal organist for the weekly concert series at the Jordi Bosch organ in Santanyí. In addition, he is the founder and artistic director of the Caimari International Early Music Festival, the concert series Stylus Phantasticus, and the Acadèmia Internacional d’Orgue de Mallorca.
